We are ramping up to welcome our students for the beginning of a new academic year!

The return of the students brings much to look forward to.  Each year brings new beginnings, new ideas, and new ways to grow - for the kids themselves, and for us as a school!

Last year, we noticed an uptick in the number of children in the area in need of preschool education.  To accommodate them, we offered a small afternoon preschool session to supplement our usual morning program.

We are excited to share that another preschool with similar programming has opened near Futuro.  We have been referring parents looking for a spot to this new program, and we are thankful they will be taking on about 50 community preschoolers (reducing the need for us to offer the afternoon preschool program). 

We partnered with the new school to offer another round of “Beginning of the Year” teacher training.  This current class includes nine teachers from three schools!

We are also thrilled to announce the expansion of our afterschool homework center!  In addition to help with homework itself, we can now offer math and reading enrichment, art, and physical activity focused on gross motor skills and hand-eye coordination.  

Along with academic encouragement, this program also offers a healthy dose of fun!  The kids can expect time to play and unwind after academic activities are complete, as well as spiritually based mentorship.
